Help Families in Recovery Make Good Memories This Christmas 

For children of prisoners and kids who live with substance addiction in the home, Christmas can be one of the most difficult times of year. 
Going hand in hand is the men and women incarcerated during the holiday's, isolated from family and loved ones. 
Christian Formation Ministries invites you to help  make the holidays a little brighter for local children who need hope the most.

Sponsor an Inmate 

Christian Formation Ministries is supporting the Recovery Community within Floyd Co Jail. Your gift of $15.00 sponsors a requested Recovery Bible and a copy of Get Out! a plan for returning to the free world after incarceration. 

Sponsor A Child With A Stocking

Stockings are a great way to give a gift with meaning with a child who needs hope the most this season. This year, we are offering two options: Personally shop for your sponsored child(ren), or you may choose to give a one time gift and we will do the shopping for you. 

How Does it Work? 

Members from the My Club mentoring program will fill out an interest sheet to help their stocking sponsors pick out personalized items. Stockings are recommended to have the following.

• One $10.00 gift, wrapped
  
• Two $5.00 gifts, wrapped
  
• $5.00-$10.00 worth of candies and small gifts
  
• A Christmas Note to your sponsored child

• Dad/Grandfather/Guardian Stocking
• $10.00 Kroger Gift Cards

2020 Sponsor Information

​Drop off Date: December 19th, 2020
General Guidelines 

• Spend between $25.00-$30.00 per stocking.
• One gift worth $10.00, wrapped
• Two gifts worth $5.00, wrapped
• $10.00-15.00 together worth of candies and small gifts. 
• Make sure the gifts can fit into a stocking. 
• Wrap the bigger gifts (2 or 3 of them) with wrapping paper and write a small note of encouragement. 
• Please remove any price tags and blackout the Scan Codes on all larger items. 
• Although it is easy to be generous this time of year, we ask our sponsors to keep the wrapped gifts to no more than 4 per My Club Member. Fairness is very important to our young people and we want their experience to be as equal as possible. If you wish to give a special gift for your My Club Member, or give toward the group gift, contact the My Club office.
  
  Stocking gifts idea's include: gift cards, school supplies, personal hygiene products and hand lotions, hair accessories and jewelry (for girls and ladies), nail polish and spa items (also girls and ladies), wallets, superhero items and action figures (Superman, Batman, Spiderman, etc.), Minecraft items, Shopkins, LOLs, Harry Potter, Disney, Lego's, Pokemon and Pokemon cards, puzzle books and games, devotional books and short stories, candy bars, craft projects, and recipe books.
