Media Director

Media Director is responsible for managing the photography and videography of campers and staff during the week(s) of camp, managing photographers for stations, and scheduling them to be in locations of importance to capture photos and videos, and filing media correctly for later use in camper photo albums, promotional materials, and any other resources considered necessary.
Media Director must manage a team of 3-4 photographers, have excellent communication and organization skills, and have a background in photography. Bring own equipment is optional but not necessary.
Media Directors are also requested to support camp program set up (Sunday afternoons), camp clean up and tear down (Friday afternoons), and to assist any finalizations of program needs through the Camp Director before being dismissed.

Support Staff Leader

Support Staff Leaders are responsible for managing our nominees from Leadership Camp and any additional volunteer Support Staff into the daily schedule that makes camp possible. The support staff is divided into two teams and goes through various rotations, including setting up camper stations (archery, crafts, life skills, etc.) and basic facility care (dishes, restrooms, facility cleanup).
Other special events to supervise include Birthday Parties, Adventure Days, and fun activities for your team. Support Staff Leaders must have strong management and communication skills, comfortable with giving fair but firm corrections as needed with the Camp Director present and be willing to work alongside your team in projects. Support Staff Leaders take turns in orchestration nightly fun activities for the Support Staff team to do under management and manages the team until lights out. Support Staff Leaders lead best when each leader manages one team and communicates with the other what the needs are for the day.

Counselor Coaches

Counselor Coaches are responsible for the first defense of emotional care and hospitality for campers well as supporting counselors in their roles to make camp a safe and fun place for both campers and counselors. Counselor Coaches management system differs from all other leader teams, with one counselor coach taking an administration role one week, alternating to coaching lead the next.
Administration weeks include supporting the Director in dividing the teams, leading the Monday afternoon camper expectation meeting, keeping track of team points, verse challenges, tracking the zones system for both campers and counselors, leading the morning meeting for the counselors, and assuring the names and teams of the campers stay accurate and correct.
Coach lead weeks include help matching counselors with camper teams, leading the counselor expectation meeting on Monday mornings, leading the coaching one on ones with the counselors during their scheduled time, communicating with the Director any zoned behavior throughout the day, and generally floating, being a consistent and visible presence for the counselors to seek out support. Boosting and keeping moral up among the counselors is also a major part of the Counselor Coach experience.
Counselor Coaches are also responsible with managing Friday morning camper packing and debriefing the counselors Friday afternoon after the campers leave. Additionally, Counselor Coaches are asked to be a support to the Support Staff Leaders and the Birthday Party Lead day of the event.

Programs Director

Programs Director works alongside the Camp Director and the Assistant Director to assure that the weekly/daily schedules are up to date and to monitor the time and alerting the camp to the next activity and location.
Programs Director also works with the Support Staff Leaders and Counselor Coaches and communicates the highlights of the daily activities, including any changes to the schedule, and helps brainstorm alternative programing when changes are required. Programs Director may also be requested to be a floater in camper or support staff care, depending on the needs of the day, well as supporting special events such as the Birthday Party or the Themed Adventure events.
Programs Director must be comfortable with most computer software, Excel or Google Docs critically, strong communication skills, and comfortable being on stage and presenting.

The Wildcard is a position that requires the individual to be comfortable stepping into multiple areas of support. Wildcards may be called on to support the Counselor Coaches with camper and counselor care, management and supervision of Support Staff with the Support Staff Leaders, or work alongside the Media Director or Programs Manager.
The Wildcard also works alongside the Camp Director and the Programs Director to create the Birthday Party, which includes prep the day before, event management the day of and instruct the Leadership Team during the event and communicate with the Support Staff Leaders the day after to properly store the birthday supplies.
Wildcard may also be the main lead for the themed activities and events, such as the adventure events.
